Red Angus Cattle Certification
The Red Angus FCCP allows for the certification of cattle into the program at any stage during the production cycle, as long as either the sire or dam is a registered Red Angus animal. This USDA Process Verified program allows certified Red Angus influenced cattle to supply approved "ANGUS" branded beef product lines. Until this point, all "ANGUS" branded beef product lines were using only the phenotypic portion of the USDA schedule GLA specification of 51% black hided as a means of obtaining their product. Upon introduction of the FCCP, approved "ANGUS" branded beef product lines are able to obtain and utilize a product that is genetically sourced to "Angus".

How to certify calves...
- Contact the Red Angus Association at (940)387-3502.
- Certification can only be done through the RAAA National Office.
- Using THR and USDA Product Quality Control procedures, eligibility of certification is determined and completed, usually in the same day.
- Official "Red Angus" ear tags are shipped out (sold in bags of 25).
- Upon receiving tags, the enclosed agreement must be signed and returned to the RAAA.
- Once tagged, cattle are eligible for any and all marketing options through the Red Angus Marketing Programs.

Feeder Fax
This is a listing service available to producers who have truck load lots of Red Angus influenced feeder cattle for sale. A description of the cattle, including current location, contact information of the seller and date of delivery, is given to the National Office. This information is then formatted and faxed to feedlot managers and order buyers across the country that are specifically looking for Red Angus feeder cattle. Interested buyers will then contact the seller directly to negotiate a selling price. To list cattle or receive the Feeder Fax, contact Ann Holsinger at the National Office.
"It was apparent when my cattle appeared on the Red Angus feeder fax, because I immediately starting receiving calls from interested buyers. The feeder fax helped expose my cattle to a larger audience and receive a strong price for my calves."
Kevin Berke, Eustis, NE
